| "This book by Mel Agen contains more "playable" examples of flamenco guitar than his "Easy Flamenco Solos" book. The songs are more complex (not necessarily difficult for the intermediate to advanced player), though Mr. Agen's demonstrations of the tunes reveal his skill shortcomings, due I think, to his age. Same problems as with the "Easy" book...the guitar is not in tune in some songs, and his 3-note pulloffs are inaudible. Still, a good book for adding flamenco songs to your repertoire. " |
